THE LEAGUE SQUAD 2025/26 – MEN
We're incredibly proud to present the HØJ family with the 18 chosen players that our new coaching duo — head coach Stian Tønnesen and assistant coach Patrik Liljestrand — will look to steer through their debut season in Håndboldligaen 2025/26.
The squad is a great blend of well-known names from previous seasons combined with a number of new and seriously exciting signings.
Among them is Sweden's Hampus Wanne, who joins from Spanish giants Barcelona, the ever-dangerous and attack-minded Michael Damgaard, who comes to HØJ Elite after 10 years at German side SC Magdeburg, plus Tobias Nielsen, who has impressed in Håndboldligaen for TMS Ringsted — and earned his national team debut in the red-and-white jersey earlier this year on the back of those performances.
Among the other exciting arrivals, we're just as thrilled to welcome Till Klimpke (HSG Wetzler), Kassem Awad (Kadetten Schaffhausen), Jonathan Svensson (MT Melsungen) and Jonatan Mollerup (Skanderborg AGF Håndbold).
On top of that, we're delighted to still have Pauli Jacobsen, Emil Kheri Imsgaard, Hans Lindberg, Tom Kaare Nikolaisen, Mikkel Olsen, Lukas Karlskov, Lauge Hemmingsen, Lucas Garsdal, Niklas Fingren, Linus Arnesson and Simen Högdahl Schønningsen at our disposal.
