There was huge applause from the stands 👏 as a visibly moved Valter Chrintz ran onto the court and got his first minutes in open play after more than two and a half years of an enforced break from the game.

And this wasn't just another handball match in the calendar for our talented Swedish right wing on Friday night at Ølstykke-Hallen 🥰

26-year-old Valter Chrintz has suffered no fewer than three cruciate ligament injuries between 2022 and 2025. But with an unbreakable iron will and dedicated rehabilitation, Hans Lindberg's former Füchse Berlin teammate could finally make his comeback for HØJ Elite in the match against Stoholm IF. 😍

Ahead of Friday's match, Valter Chrintz had been on the court for a few penalty throws, but the minutes in open play were his first in several years.

We wish Valter a big congratulations on the comeback and salute his amazing dedication and determination to fight his way back 💪❤️
