EMIL KHERI IMSGARD LEAVES HØJ ELITE AFTER THIS SEASON

At the end of this season, Emil Kheri Imsgard will continue his career at a new club. That means he will have completed two full seasons at HØJ Elite – first in 1. division and later in the handball league.
There have been several standout moments during Emil's time in the HØJ shirt. The most notable was of course his big contribution to the promotion to the handball league, just as he delivered a remarkable performance in Brøndby Hallen against the Danish champions Aalborg Håndbold.
Lars Vinther, director at HØJ Elite, has great admiration for the departing goalkeeper:
"Emil has played a major role in our development and results over the past two seasons. He has performed at a consistently high level in 1. division and was a key factor in our promotion to the league. At the same time, he has brought professionalism, a strong mentality and a personality that has been valuable in our everyday work.
Back in August 2025 we announced that Jannick Green is joining HØJ Elite from Paris Saint Germain. Together with Till Klimpe, that gives us an extremely strong duo in the goalkeeper position next season.
We would like to thank Emil for a tremendous effort and wish him all the best in his career going forward. At the same time, we look forward to finishing the season strongly together and reaching our goal."
Emil Kheri Imsgard says the following about his experiences with HØJ Elite:
My time at HØJ Elite has meant an incredible amount to me – both on the court and personally. I'm proud to have been part of the club and the community we have built together. The decision to change clubs hasn't been easy, but I feel it's the right next step for me in my development. I'd like to say a huge thank you to my teammates, coaches, staff, volunteers and everyone around the club for the support and the experiences we've shared. HØJ will always have a special place in my heart."
From HØJ Elite, a big thank you goes out to Emil for his efforts, along with the best of luck in the challenges ahead. At the same time, we're pleased to still have him available for the remaining and decisive part of the season.
