HØJ Elite extends with Anne Cathrine Lundbye

We're delighted to announce that HØJ Elite has extended its partnership with Anne Cathrine Lundbye (AC) for the upcoming season. That means we'll continue to enjoy AC's many qualities on the court going forward.

"I'm really happy to have extended with HØJ Elite. It's the right place for me, and I'm thriving both on and off the court. I'm looking forward to continuing my development, contributing to the team and being part of the community we have together," says Anne Cathrine Lundbye.

HØJ Elite chair Helle Rasmussen adds:

"This season is Anne Cathrine's first in the handball league, and she has developed noticeably, especially in the second half of the season. She has found her place both defensively and offensively and has become skilled at using her physique constructively – particularly in the breakthrough play. I see that AC has gained confidence and belief that she can contribute even more going forward. We're very pleased that AC wants to continue for another season at HØJ Elite."

Anne Cathrine Lundbye joined HØJ Elite from TMS Ringsted ahead of the 2024/25 season and has since made fine contributions to the team – both in the 1. division and now at league level.

When the new season gets underway this summer, Lundbye will pull on the HØJ Elite shirt for the third year running. We're looking forward to many more strong performances and great moments with our talented No. 9 on the team.
