HØJ Elite extends with wing
Matilde Dalbo Kirkegaard joined HØJ Elite from Roskilde Håndbold ahead of the club's first season in the top flight. And she's done so well that both parties have now extended their partnership through the summer of 2028. Chairwoman Helle Rasmussen says of the extension: "Matilde came to HØJ with an enormous eagerness to improve. With Trine Mortensen's pregnancy and maternity leave, Matilde has also been able to get almost full playing time on the left wing. All in all, that's meant she has gone through a really impressive development this season. That's why we've wanted to extend our partnership with Matilde through the summer of 2028, and I'm pleased that we've managed it and that Matilde wants to stay at HØJ." Matilde Dalbo herself says of the extension: "I'm incredibly happy and proud to have extended with HØJ Elite. The club has a very professional sporting setup and a strong sense of togetherness both on and off the court, which is completely unique. I really appreciate the trust both the club and the coaching team have shown me, and that's why I believe HØJ Elite is exactly the right place for me to continue my development. I'm looking forward to more experiences together with the squad, the organisation, the volunteers and the fans in the years to come."
