HØJ ELITE EXTENDS PARTNERSHIP WITH LAUGE HEMMINGSEN

HØJ Elite is proud to announce that our own talented #4, Lauge Hemmingsen, has extended his current deal and will continue in the club shirt for two more seasons.
That means fans, partners and everyone else in the HØJ family can keep enjoying Lauge's many qualities on the court all the way up to the summer of 2028.
Lars Vinther, CEO of HØJ Elite, said the following about the extension:
“We're delighted that Lauge is staying at HØJ Elite. He's a strong example of the development path we want to create at the club, where our own talents get the chance to go all the way up to league level.
Lauge is steadily taking on more and more responsibility on the court. At first it was mainly in defence, but now he's contributing in attack as well. Lauge is a player who works in a focused and professional way every single day, and at the same time he's an important part of the togetherness in and around the team.”
On the reasons behind the extension, Lauge Hemmingsen himself said:
“I'm incredibly happy with my everyday life in København and Ølstykke, where I can combine handball and my studies close to friends and family. That's why I'm also hugely happy and proud to be able to continue my daily routine at Ølstykke-Hallen.”
Lauge Hemmingsen has played the majority of his youth handball at HØJ and his entire senior career at HØJ Elite.
Over the years, Lauge has always shown great professionalism, strong dedication and a powerful drive to constantly develop and make a difference.
At HØJ Elite we're therefore thrilled to keep Lauge in the squad, and we look forward to plenty of strong performances in the HØJ Elite shirt — both this season and in the seasons to come.
