HIGH MORALE AND A STRONG FIGHT SECURED A VITAL POINT IN RINGSTED

TMS Ringsted – HØJ Elite 32-32 (16-18)
Just as expected, the clash in Ringsted turned into both an intense and dramatic affair as the two local rivals went head to head in front of several hundred passionate fans on Wednesday night.
The game swung back and forth with the lead changing hands several times, and it proved every bit as tough as it had looked beforehand.
We showed high morale and plenty of coolness throughout, and despite the hosts leading by two goals with four minutes to go, we still managed to draw level – and even had a chance to win it with just seconds left on the clock.
It just wasn't quite to be, though, so it all ended in a shared point.
The HØJ side put up an exemplary fight, and that paid off in the spells when things were toughest for us. There was constant focus and belief that we'd take something home with us – and we did.
Till Klimpke was once again absolutely outstanding with several penalty saves, and he also did a brilliant job dealing with the many big, open chances the home side created. A fantastic effort from our red-hot German keeper.
Andreas Nielsen, who keeps getting better and more settled into the team, played his best game to date in the HØJ shirt. There wasn't much that didn't come off for our newest member of the HØJ family, which bodes well for the two final tasks of 2025.
Last but not least, you simply have to acknowledge and tip your cap to the fantastic and experienced Hans Lindberg. Five penalties and five sure-fire goals. HØJ class from our local world star, who just keeps on impressing every single time he steps onto the court.
The final penalty was even finished off with a nerve-racking lob that sent our travelling fans in the away section into pure jubilation just minutes before the final whistle.
The next task is already this Sunday, when we host SAH in Ølstykke-Hallen at 15:00.
