After a start to the season plagued by a number of frustrating injuries, including at the line position, HØJ Elite have responded to the situation and signed a strong line player from Norwegian side Follo HK.
Norwegian Marte Siren Figenschau therefore joins HØJ Elite's league women with immediate effect.
"Unfortunately we're stretched thin on resources at the moment, and to avoid a spiral of further injuries, the club has thankfully chosen to add more depth to the team. Marte is 25 years old and a modern two-way player with experience from several Norwegian clubs and the Norwegian youth national team system.
I reckon she'll be able to step in relatively quickly and make a positive contribution to the squad and to our game," says head coach Kristian Kristensen.
Director Helle Rasmussen adds: "We really appreciate that Marte was ready to come to Denmark and HØJ Elite on short notice. We're looking forward to seeing her in the HØJ shirt. A big thank you also to Follo HK for their willingness to release Marte from her otherwise new contract."
