Big back talent boosts the HØJ Elite women
HØJ Elite has signed a two-year contract with talented left back Signe Bang, who joins the club from Odense Håndbold.
It's an exciting addition to our already strong league squad, and it delights the club's chairman, Helle Rasmussen.
"20-year-old Signe Bang Andersen is a very talented player with great potential. Besides good physicality, Signe's standout strength is a very powerful shot.
Signe has played for GOG's U19 side and for Gudme's 1st division team. This season she has been under contract with Odense Håndbold, where she made her debut – both in the Danish league and in the Champions League. So Signe already has a fair bit of top-level senior experience.
Signe has also been a regular part of the Danish youth national teams."
A strong development environment
"I think we've seen over the past few seasons that here at HØJ Elite we've built a strong development environment, where young players are given good opportunities and a lot of trust too – we saw that most recently this season with the likes of Julie Persson. That's why I also expect Signe to thrive and develop really well with us," says Helle Rasmussen.
