FRIDA ROSELL WORKS HARD ON HER COMEBACK BEHIND THE SCENES

Our talented #29, Swedish Frida Rosell, is in full swing with her rehab following surgery — and fortunately everything is going according to plan.

“I’m doing well now — both mentally and physically! But it was a bit tougher on the day of the operation and the week after. I found it hard to accept that I was injured and to understand that I’m back at square one with a brand new cruciate ligament — that feeling wasn’t pleasant, and I hope I never have to go through it again.”

Everything is good now

“After 7 weeks of rehab I’m feeling good, and so is my knee. I’ve got good mobility and strength. My knee was clearly swollen after the surgery, but after seeing my doctor last week it’s gotten much better. So everything is good now, and I’m making progress in my rehab with every passing day!”

Progress and growing strength

What motivates me is all the progress you make during rehab. That’s the best thing about an ACL injury, I have to say. You feel yourself improving and getting stronger with every passing day! I’ve done a lot of rehab in my life for various things, and the most demotivating part is when you don’t really feel any progress. But you do with an ACL injury — there’s a whole lot of progress along the way!”

We thank Frida for giving us a positive update on her rehab — and we can’t wait to see her back on the court during the coming season.
